New Released Original Anime 2025: STARSPROUT 🌱

STARSPROUT! – Episode 1: “The Sprout That Fell From The Sky” ✨

Scene 1 – Opening (Sky Event)

Setting: A small, quiet mountain village surrounded by rice fields, glowing lanterns, and a wide star-filled sky.

  • The air hums with excitement as families set up blankets and children chase each other, carrying paper star-shaped lanterns. The festival only happens once every 12 years—the Starfall Festival.

  • Narration (Taro’s voice): “Grandma always said the stars are seeds waiting to bloom. Tonight… I’ll finally see it for myself.”

  • The villagers gather in the central plaza. The mayor speaks: “Children, watch closely. The sky will gift you with its light tonight.”

  • The stars begin to shimmer unnaturally bright. One by one, glowing sparks rain down like golden fireflies, drifting gently toward the earth.

  • Kids laugh and jump, trying to catch them. Some sparks land softly on their hands, vanishing into their chests—feeding their Starseeds.

  • Taro, standing a little apart from the crowd, stares with wide eyes. “So this is… the star’s gift?”

  • Suddenly—BOOM! A massive, burning seed blazes across the sky like a meteor. It crashes into the distant forest with a thunderous echo, shaking the ground. The crowd gasps in fear.

  • Adults panic: “Stay away from the woods!”

  • Taro bites his lip, his eyes gleaming with curiosity. “A star that big… What if it’s special? What if it’s waiting for me?”

Scene 2 – Taro’s Curiosity

Setting: Forest edge, misty and glowing faintly from falling star-dust.

  • Ignoring the adults’ warnings, Taro sneaks away. His sandals crunch on dirt as he pushes through tall grass. The forest feels strangely alive, glowing with faint star particles that cling to the leaves.

  • He arrives at a crater. In the center lies a massive glowing seed, cracked open, pulsing with light. It hums like a heartbeat.

  • Slowly, he steps closer, hand trembling. “Is… this alive?”

  • As he touches the shell, it splits with a soft hiss, like a flower blooming. From inside tumbles out a tiny, plant-like creature—a bouncy green sprout with stubby arms, glowing eyes, and a little star-shaped leaf sprouting from its head.

  • The creature blinks at him, then hops onto his shoulder and nuzzles his cheek.

  • Taro stumbles back, shocked. “W-what the—? You’re… you’re cute!”

  • The sprout chirps happily, glowing brighter, almost as if agreeing.

  • Taro laughs nervously. “Guess you picked me, huh?”

Scene 3 – Trouble Arrives

Setting: Forest grows darker, wind stirs unnaturally.

  • The ground rumbles. Trees bend, leaves scatter. From the shadows, a grotesque creature slithers forth—a Wither Beast, shaped like a twisted tree with glowing red veins and empty eyes. Its body oozes black vines, dripping sap like blood.

  • Villagers whisper from far away, unable to see clearly but sensing danger.

  • Taro’s eyes widen. “N-no way… What IS that?!”

  • The Wither Beast roars, sending a shockwave of wind. Taro falls back, clutching the tiny sprout to his chest. “I’m not a hero! I don’t even know what you are!”

  • The sprout wiggles, glowing brighter, then suddenly transforms into a tiny green shield, wrapping around Taro as the Beast’s vines strike. The shield cracks but holds.

  • Taro gasps. “You… protected me?”

  • The Beast’s vines slam again, this time throwing Taro against a tree. His sling bag spills open—tools, gadgets, and notebooks scatter.

  • He tries to crawl away, terrified. The Beast towers over him, roaring.

Scene 4 – Awakening of Hope

Setting: Moonlight shines through broken treetops.

  • Taro, bruised and breathing hard, remembers his grandmother’s words:
“Sprouts bloom from courage, not fear. The braver the heart, the brighter the light.”

  • He clenches his fists. Tears mix with dirt on his face. “I don’t want to run anymore. If I run, Pico—no, if I run, this little guy… will wither!”

  • He grabs the sprout, holds it to his chest, and shouts: “I won’t run! Let’s fight together!”

  • The sprout trembles, glowing brighter than ever before. Vines burst from its body, wrapping around Taro’s arm. In seconds, the sprout morphs into a shining vine whip, sparkling with starlight.

  • Taro swings clumsily at first, missing, but then finds rhythm. The whip lashes the Wither Beast’s chest, striking its glowing core.

  • The Beast screeches, vines unraveling. With one final strike, Taro smashes the core—

  • BOOM! The Wither Beast explodes into a shower of harmless glowing petals that drift gently to the forest floor.

  • Silence falls. The forest glows softly again.

Scene 5 – Closing Hook

Setting: Crater clearing, peaceful night returns.

  • Taro collapses onto the grass, panting, sweat dripping down his face. The whip vanishes, and the sprout—Pico—returns to its small, bouncy form.

  • Pico hops onto his chest, smiling brightly. Taro laughs, exhausted but overjoyed. “Okay, little guy… I guess we’re partners now.”

  • He sits up, gazing at the cracked seed husk nearby. As moonlight hits it, faint carvings glow—an image of a mystical floating garden among the stars.

  • Taro’s eyes widen. “The… Great Garden of Stars? It’s real.”

  • Final panel: Taro and Pico staring at the glowing symbol, their silhouettes outlined against the starlit sky.
